Need to know 'the' best builds for 2 heros
I want a fire build for vekk as i want him to be a nuker...whats the best build for this?
I also need a build for ogden...is HB the best for him? if so what other skills do i add?
I use the following for jora
[Jora;OQcTE5J/nRsg9JLhF+qh9qIAAA] could i improve this build?
Notes:
Ogden wields a 20/20 staff 20% enchants +30 health
Vekk wields a 20/20 staff 20% enchants +30 health
Jora wields a 20/20 hammer 15^50 +30 health
Hope this is enough info thanks.

On Jora's build I would replace pulverizing with [crushing blow] Irresistible for something like [mighty blow].
ogden:
[word of healing][dwayna's kiss][shield of absorption][guardian][cure hex][protective spirit][aegis][glyph of lesser energy]
vekk:
Personally I wouldn't use fire but if you insist:
[Savannah heat][searing heat][teinai's heat][glyph of lesser energy][ancestors' rage][splinter weapon][fire attunement][death pact signet]
This should be ok with jora's aoe KD.
There's no such thing as a 'best' build tho, because you should change your builds depending on the challenge that's ahead of you.

[yeti smash] is coo.
On monk heroes i always use HB also, but with channeling because they're always directly in the middle of the largest mobs in the area anyways.
And with ele's i like to go with something like this
[fire attunement][elemental attunement][rodgort's invocation][fireball][liquid flame][searing heat][weapon of warding][flesh of my flesh]

You can probably go with an SF build or dual attunement, depending on how you have your hero outfitted. Example (from memory but probably from PvXwiki):
SF Hero
[skill]Aura of Restoration[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill][skill]Searing Flames[/skill][skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill][skill]Fireball[/skill][skill]Liquid Flame[/skill][skill]Power Drain[/skill]
Dual Attune Hero
[skill]Aura of Restoration[/skill][skill]Elemental Attunement[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Fireball[/skill][skill]Phoenix[/skill][skill]Liquid Flame[/skill][skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill][skill]Optional[/skill]
A hybrid build for your healer is probably the way to go since the Hero AI sucks balls and they don't use half the skills properly. An HB Hero healer is decent with some energy management mixed in. I've had luck with a WoH hybrid that I found on PvXwiki, although I tend to just make builds to suit the situation I'm going into.

Hmm i like the dual attune...how about this with vekk's dual
[Vekk;OgBDkoysCkiLw9Ssu0CL]
should i switch [ward against melee] for [resurrection signet]?
with ogden im probably going to go
[ogden;OwYT04HDHSjICEAIgYjY6reAZAA]
thinking of putting [shield of absorption] in the empty slot, any thoughts?
Also changed jora's around as i agree with squishy

Shocked no one has mentioned [ether renewal] for Vekk.
[Ether renewal][fire attunement][aura of restoration][mark of rodgort][fireball][rodgort's invocation][empty][Resurrection chant]
15 energy storage
12+1 fire magic
3 healing prayers or 3 resto for [flesh of my flesh]
P.S.- [Ether renewal] was changed for PvE but not updated in BBCode yet. Check wiki for updated description.

For what you are trying to do with Jora, I would go with IASed R/D or D/X scythe and carry [[Great Dwarf Weapon] myself. More AoE, more damage, more KD, more armour, more spammable attack skills (esp on R/D). [[Throw Dirt] is nice, and [[Whirling Defense] deals physical damage (if you happen to be a curses necro that uses [[Mark of Pain] and/or [[Barbs]). On D/X you can get some nice snaring via various AoE cripple skills. Wounding strike on either of them is the best spammable deep wound skill in the game.
That being said, melee hero AI sucks horribly. They will spend half the time running back and forth when there is AoE and thus won't contribute as much damage as they should. If you really want physical damage, get a spear thrower of some sort. Unless you are using a meleer for "tanking", in which case a minion wall or a melee hench (in terms of not wasting a slot) would be better.
For healer, since you already have a minion bomber, why not go the usual N/Rt healer? Personally the only healer heroes I use now are E/Mo [[Ether Renewal] with [[Aura of Restoration] and a maintained enchantment like like [[Vital Blessing] (allows use of superior energy storage whilst still having higher health than anyone else and hence mostly avoid aggro). You then have 5 slots of high energy spammable heal/prots. You can split 10+1+3, 11, 10 for hybrid setups. With a +20% enchant duration and taking into account aftercast, the hero can spam at best 5 3/4s spells or 7 1/4s spells in ER downtime. So energy should not be a problem.
For ele, some sort of fire AoE would be good. Although I don't see much point in using eles in HM. If you can slot it somewhere, [[Deep Freeze] (duration independent of Water rank, so works fine at 0 Water) is always a nice addition to any PvE ele build imo.

You didn't try it on heroes. They run to 20 energy, cast ER, cast few low-energy spells, ER is down, they get to 0 energy fast. Lol wth.
Or they cast ER when there is one almost dead monster and instead of spamming AoR to regain energy, they just sit and let ER run out. Dual Attune is much better for ele heroes. IF you want them, because dual MM + curses is leet.

You'll always have to make hero builds as spam-proof as you can. The dual attune setup does just that. I avoid skills that are useless when spammed or cause a condition for use (like exhaustion, movement penalty, etc.). The same will go for building a hero healer. Put only a couple of low-cost, high yield heals and use the rest for energy management and utility.
Another option with the hero eles is wards:
[build name="Wards Ele" prof=Elementalist/Mesmer earth=12+1+1 energy=10+1 inspiration=8][aura of restoration][earth attunement][glyph of lesser energy][ward against melee][ward against elements][sandstorm][earthquake][Power Drain][/build]

My fave ele hero build is this:
[build prof=E/N box EnergyStorage=8+1 curses=6 Earthmagic=12+1+1][Unsteady Ground][Eruption][Enfeebling Blood][Glowstone][Ward Against Melee][Glyph Of Lesser Energy][Earth Attunement][Resurrection Signet][/build]
warrior build:
[Build prof=W/Me box Strength=12+1 Axe=12+1+1 Dom=2][Evis][Exec][Agonizing Chop][Power Spike][Bull's Strike][Flail][Rush][Resurrection Signet][/build]
Tbh, theres not much I could add to the monk builds you've seen above. I prefer [[Signet Of Rejuvenation] over [[Dwayna's Kiss] and [[Dismiss Condition] over [[Spotless Soul]. I'm also partial to [[Spotless Mind] AND [[Cure Hex] in areas with lots of hexes (Like the wind rider/skale areas in Kryta).
